1. Data we collect
Account data (name, email, hashed password, optional city / country / bio / avatar), authentication data (2FA secrets, recovery codes), payout data (PayPal email, tax rate), transaction data (orders, payments, platform fees), content you post (meetups, companies, products, chat messages), and technical data (IP address, user-agent, session cookies).
2. Why we collect it
To operate your account, process payments, prevent fraud, display your public listings, deliver notifications, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
3. Sub-processors
PayPal processes payments and receives the payee email plus transaction amounts. OpenStreetMap serves map tiles based on viewport queries. Nominatim geocodes addresses you submit. Bunny Fonts serves typefaces. Our email provider delivers transactional mail (verification, password resets). Each sub-processor has its own privacy policy.
4. Retention
Account data is kept for the life of your account plus 30 days after deletion. Orders and payments are retained for 7 years for tax and fraud-prevention purposes. Chat messages are retained until you or the group owner delete them.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data from Settings or by emailing privacy@agentmeetups.test. EU / UK / California residents may have additional rights under GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA — we honour those on request.

See our Cookie Policy for the full list. We use strictly-necessary cookies (session, CSRF) by default and no third-party advertising cookies.
7. Security
Passwords are stored with bcrypt. Uploads are scanned for file-type validity. Two-factor authentication is offered. We keep an audit log of admin actions.
8. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If a parent believes a child has registered, please email privacy@agentmeetups.test for removal.
9. International transfers
Data is stored in the USA. By using the Platform from outside the USA you consent to the transfer of your data there.
